Minutes of June 2011 general meeting.
JUNE 7, 2011
The Middle Georgia Miata Club met on June 7,2011 at Montana's Restaurant in the Byron Peach Outlet in Byron,Georgia at 7:00 PM. Our President,Jackie Prescott conducted the meeting. Our Treasurer,Barbara Marshall gave the Treasurer's Report.
Saturday,June 25th, we will be having a Scavenger Hunt. We will meet at 5:00 PM in the parking lot on the corner of Russell Parkway & Highway 41. Those members in Albany will be emailed the list at 2 PM. John & Lynne Cook,Jerry & Elaine, & Tom & Linda will be emailed the list at 4 PM in case they have some items at their home or know where they can get them. We will eat after the hunt.
Friday-Sunday,July 29-31, some members will be traveling to NC for Miatas at the Gap in Deal's Gap.
They will meet at 6:00 AM for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel on Riverside Drive in Macon,GA. They will leave sharply at 7:00 AM for NC. Jackie has a tentative schedule if anyone wants to see it.If you have any suggestions send them to Marie Prescott & she will check into them.
Saturday or Sunday, August 20 or 21st we will have a Poker Run and eat afterwards. Stay Tuned for more info.
Sunday,September 11,we will have our Annual End of Summer Picnic. It will be at Ken & Joyce's daughter's place at Lake Sinclair. She has offered the use of her pontoon boat but if there is anyone who wants to bring their boat there is a ramp close by. We will leave Warner Robins as a group around 1:00 PM. Hot dogs,hamburgers & some drinks will be provided. You will need to bring a side dish to share.
Local cruise-ins are: 1st Saturday of the month at Peach Outlet
2nd Saturday of the month at Steak & Shake in Warner Robins
Our next meeting will be at Sonny's Restaurant on Russell Parkway on Tuesday, July 5th at 7:00 PM
