The Middle Georgia Miata Club met at 7:00 PM at Sonny's Restaurant on Russell Parkway on Tuesday,September 6,2011. The meeting was conducted by our President,Jackie Prescott. Prizes were given out for the previous Poker Run. 1st place -Joyce & Ken Cloud, 2nd place-Jackie & Marie Prescott, & 3rd place-Elaine & Jerry Gray.

Sunday, September 11,2011 at 2:00,we are having our Annual End of Summer Picnic at Ken & Joyce Clouds daughter's house on Lake Sinclair. The club is furnishing hot dogs,hamburgers,condiments, & Coke/Sprite. Each family will need to bring a covered dish to share. You should bring chairs to sit in at the lake. If you have not RSVP'd to Jackie your intentions, please do so ASAP so that he can get a head count for how much to buy. If you need directions to the house, they are on the club website.

We are discussing having a Fall Leaf Tour sometime in October. It may possibly be at the end of October. One option is that we will leave on Saturday late afternoon & spend that night around Gainesville. Sunday we would travel around the Helen area & visit Mercier Orchards & spend Sunday night in Helen. The other option is one day spending the night around Gainesville & going to Mercier & driving back Highway 60 or going to Helen. Stay Tuned.

Thursday, September 22 at 7:00 PM, we will be going to Sonic Drive-in on Margie Drive for our Miatas & Milkshakes.

Their was a discussion about changing our alternate meeting place for meetings in 2012 from Montana's to Ole Tim Country Buffet. They have 2 back rooms. Our next meeting will be at Ole Time Country Buffet so that we can check it out as a meeting place starting in 2012. It could possibly alternate between Sonny's & Ole Times. The address for Ole Time is 1208 Russell Parkway.

Saturday, December 10th or 17th is our Annual Christmas Party at Johnny Carinos. Everywhere that was checked wanted too much for rental. Stay Tuned for info!
